BALTIMORE (WJZ/CBS) - A water-powered device has picked up 85 tons of trash and debris from Baltimore's inner harbor since it was installed two months ago.

The wheel drives rakes that snag trash, and a conveyor belt transports the debris to a trash bin.

The so-called water wheel is moored where Jones Falls enters the harbor and uses the water's current and solar panels for power.

A video of the water wheel operating has more than 1 million views on YouTube.
