GONZALES, LA (WAFB) - Gonzales police need your help identifying a suspect who they say used a stolen credit card to make $800 in purchases at Walmart.

Officials say the victim left her wallet in her office at St. Elizabeth Hospital’s Medical Plaza and the suspect stole the credit card from there on June 16 at a little after 1 p.m.

Video shows the suspect entered the offices on numerous occasions looking for items to steal. The suspect used the victim’s credit card at Walmart in Port Allen to purchase two prepaid Visa cards, one for $500 and the other for $300. Those cards were used an hour later at the Walmart in New Roads to purchase two more prepaid cards.

The suspect has a distinguishing large tattoo of a flower or rose on her upper left arm. She also has a scar, mark, or tattoo in a crescent shape on her upper chest. She also has a blue extended cab Chevy truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers or the Gonzales Police Department at 225-647-9572.
