COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A Northwest High School math teacher was indicted Friday on a sexual battery charge against a female student.

Kenneth Goodin, 27, was placed on administrative leave last May pending an investigation into alleged sexual conduct with a student, according to the Northwest Local School District. The indictment states the incident happened May 16.

The district said the matter was immediately turned over to authorities for investigation.

Goodin resigned June 4 from his teaching and coaching positions with the district. A LinkedIn page lists Goodin as a math teacher.

Further details on the case were not released.

Northwest Local High School is located at 10761 Pippin Road in Colerain Township.
