BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Coworkers think highly of Kendall Washington.
Because of their recommendation, Emergency Medical Services named him “Paramedic of the Year” on Wednesday.
“It’s good to be recognized,” Washington says. “On any given day, anybody working here could’ve gotten that award.”
Washington has been a paramedic for 22 years. He says he loves serving the community and especially likes it when he can help children escape harm.
