PLAQUEMINE, LA (WAFB) - An Iberville Parish grand jury indicted five people Wednesday in connection to the shooting death of 34-year-old Hashim Henderson of Plaquemine, LA.
Henderson was found shot to death in his home on May 3, 2014.
The Plaquemine Police Department reported Willie Thomas, 43, of Baton Rouge, was arrested in Baton Rouge. He has been indicted for second degree murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit second degree murder.
Alex Granville, also known as "Tank," 35, of Brusly, and Jacqueline Deloach, 32, of Plaquemine, have both been indicted for conspiracy to commit second degree murder, principal to second degree murder, and principal to armed robbery.
Damon Johnson, 37, of Brusly was indicted for obstruction of justice. Willie Davis, 31, was indicted for accessory after the fact to second degree murder.
Detectives said Deloach and Granville knew Henderson. It is believed the pair, along with Thomas, went to rob Henderson around 2 a.m. They added at some point Henderson was shot once in the chest with a small caliber handgun.
