LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) -
Fourteen people were arrested Wednesday as part of a narcotics roundup called "Operation-No Freedom for You." The undercover operation lasted for three months.
Officials with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said the majority of the accused "low-level street dealers" were pushing prescription medications.
“It’s a problem in Livingston Parish and beyond our parish borders,” said Sheriff Jason Ard. “In Livingston Parish, the dedicated members of my narcotics team work to make sure they know the players and what they’re pushing. It’s for the safety of your family, my family and their families.”
