St. Mary Parish Sheriff's office looking for missing teen

ST. MARY PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office needs your help locating a missing teen who may have run away.

Jasmine Smith, 16, was last seen around 3 p.m. on Beau Chene Lane in Franklin on June 18. She was reported missing around 10:45 p.m.

She is described as 5'8" tall with brown eyes and brown hair.

She was last seen wearing dark colored pants and possibly a pink shirt and bright pink shoes. Anyone with information  is asked to call (337) 828-1960 or (985) 384-1622.

    A man accused of an attempted armed robbery Thursday night was shot in the process and died early Friday morning, according to investigators. The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Kylin Spencer, 19, died at the hospital from gunshot wounds.
