Deputies searching for missing 16-year-old from Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

East Baton Rouge Sheriff's deputies are looking for a 16-year-old Baton Rouge girl that they believe ran away from home early Tuesday morning or Monday night.

Kathryn Labauve, 16, of Baton Rouge is believed to have left her home in her mother's 2007 powder blue Toyota RAV with an LSU license plate.

Detectives are also looking for 41-year-old John Lamberson, of Baton Rouge, as he may have information pertaining to Labauve's whereabouts.

The vehicle was spotted Tuesday in Lafayette and St. Martin parishes. It was seen in LaPlace, Louisiana Tuesday night headed east on I-10. Labauve could possibly be headed toward Florida.

Kathryn Labauve is described as a white female, about 5'7" and weighs about 185 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.
