BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A man was arrested Sunday afternoon after being accused of swimming naked in an apartment complex pool around children and other guests. The man is also suspected of being intoxicated at the time, according to police.
The probable cause report says 28-year-old Tyler Westley Sanchez of Baton Rouge got into an argument at the pool with another guest.
Reports say Sanchez was told he could not have glass bottles at the pool. Sanchez reportedly told the man to "mind his own business" and "if you mess with the bull, you get the horns." He then threw a glass beer bottle into the parking lot near the pool.
That is when other witnesses say Sanchez got into the pool, took off his swimming trunks and threw them aside and got out of the pool naked. One witness says she was with her two young children when it happened.
An officer was called to the disturbance and when he arrived, he saw two men walking away from the pool area. He stopped the men and noticed that one of them had their swimming shorts on backwards.
According to the probable cause report, Sanchez told the officer "We didn't do anything. You can go ahead and take me to jail." When asked why, he responded "[Expletive] it, just take me to jail."
Sanchez was arrested for obscenity and disturbing the peace by intoxication. He was taken to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison where he is being held on a $3,000 bond.
