BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - US Sen. David Vitter, R-LA, said cutting Louisiana's wait times for veterans in clinics is a priority in the Senate.
"In the Senate, we came together on a bipartisan basis with a strong reform bill," Vitter said. "That included, by the way, two Louisiana clinics that have been in the mud at the VA."
He will be the guest speaker at Press Club on Monday, where he will have more comments related the VA.
Vitter announced earlier this year his plan to run for governor of Louisiana in 2016.
