BATON ROUGE, LA - State Representative Regina Barrow, D-Baton Rouge, announces her 9th annual Flag Day Celebration this weekend, Saturday, June 14, 2014. This year's "Celebrating the Red, White, & Blue," event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Louisiana State Capitol, Committee Room 5.

Barrow invites constituents and friends to join her as she honors the service men and women of the Louisiana's Armed Forces and the elected officials who have also served in the military for their courage and sacrifice. This year's event will focus on policies, successes and concerns with our military. She also extends a special invitation to all military service men and women who would like to attend the event, and encourages them to contact her office so that she may recognize them for their service.

"I am happy lead another successful Flag Day. It is important to me to show the service men and women in our community just how important they are to the citizens of this state, and our members here in the Legislature," Barrow said. "I hope to receive continued support in this event from members of the community, as well as my colleagues in the House, through their participation."
