AMITE, LA (WAFB) -

A Tangipahoa Parish Grand Jury indicted Darryl Lynn Hill of Amite with one count of second degree murder.

Hill, 63, is charged with the death of her brother, 62-year-old Alfred Hill. On March 19,  the victim was shot outside of his Amite residence and transported to Hood Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

After the shooting, investigators searched Hill's home located in the 100 block of South Second Street when they discovered more than $421,000 in fake money.

Hill said she printed copies of her money as receipts for payment. She was not charged because she never spent the fake money.
