DDD announces start of work on Wi-Fi hotspots for downtown BR

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Downtown Development District tackled a hefty agenda during its board meeting Tuesday morning.

Among the items discussed was plans for Wi-Fi hotspots throughout downtown Baton Rouge.

Work is scheduled to begin next week and will cover some pretty popular areas, including Repentance Park, Town Square, Old State Capitol and even down to the riverfront.

Officials also announced the web cams at Town Square are now up and running, so you'll be able to take a sneak peek at events like Live After Five while they're happening.
