Crews working to repair washed-out road on Southern's campus

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Crews are working hard to repair a chunk of road washed out on Southern's campus.

University officials have met with state and federal crews about the damage to a portion of E.C. Harrison Drive.

It is believed the damage was caused when a culvert under the road crumbled from age combined with water from the Mississippi River streaming through campus.

There's no word on how long it will take to fix the damage.
