BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Fire investigators said arson was the cause of a fire that destroyed a vacant house Sunday night.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department reported the fire happened on Coolidge Street, which is off South River Road just north of West McKinley Street, around 9 p.m.
Curt Monte with BRFD said when firefighters arrived at the scene, the house was already engulfed in flames.
