BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge firefighters believe an early morning house fire is the work of an arsonist. The fire took place at a vacant home in the 2300 block of Tennessee Street, just after 1:30 am Sunday morning.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found smoke coming from the attic. Once inside, they found several small fires throughout the home. Most of the fires were small or had already extinguished themselves. The attic portion of the home burned for a while before firefighters could get it under control.
