BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Southern University Board of Supervisors was expected to name an interim chancellor at its regularly scheduled meeting Friday, but that didn't happen.
The board went into executive session and when they exited said no decisions were made. The item has been tabled until the next meeting.
Chancellor James Llorens' contract expires on June 30. The board voted in February not to renew his contract. A search committee has been named to find a permanent replacement.
