Officials prepare to break ground on new Lee High

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The official groundbreaking for the new Lee High School in Baton Rouge will take place Thursday morning.

The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board said the ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.

The new state-of-the-art school will consist of four buildings. It is expected to cost $54.4 million and construction is set to be finished by January 2016.
