State Troopers say a Kenner man has been killed in an early morning vehicle crash. The crash happened around 3:30 am Sunday morning on I-10 at mile post 201.
Investigators say Patrick Sullivan, 54, was driving east in the westbound lanes of I-10 when he struck an International truck driven by Glenn Lampton, 30, on the left side. Sullivan was taken to a local hospital where he later died from injuries he sustained in the crash. Lampton suffered minor injuries but refused aid at the scene.
Investigators believe that Sullivan was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the crash. Toxicology tests are scheduled to be performed. Impairment is not suspected on Lampton's part. The crash remains under investigation.
