Convenience store robbed at gunpoint, BRPD seeking 2 suspects

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a convenience store on Friday night.

Investigators say two black men entered the Cracker Barrel on Winbourne Avenue at around 11:37 p.m. The first suspect was wearing a gray mask, blue jeans, a white hat, a light blue shirt and white shoes.  He allegedly pulled out a long gun upon entering and demanded money. After taking some cash and merchandise, the suspect then fled the scene.

The second suspect was seen on a surveillance tape, wearing a black shirt and black pants. He, too, was wearing a gray ski mask.

Detectives say there were no injuries reported.
