Fallen tree blocks Highland Road

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Flooding was not the only problem caused by two days of heavy downpours across south Louisiana; fallen trees was another result.

A tree fell across Highland Road near Staring Lane on Thursday, blocking both lanes of travel.

Drivers were forced to take detours until crews could cut it and move it out of the way.
