BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Congratulations to the promoters, the performers and the fans - all of the people who made the fifth annual Bayou Country Superfest another huge success.

Promoters say they sold 135,000 tickets for the event, breaking all of their previous records. Sure, the Bayou Country Superfest is good for Baton Rouge and Louisiana. People from almost every state in the nation come here to be a part of this festival, and we know when they go back home, many of them will be thinking positive thoughts about our area. One fan was quoted as saying just that, "Great music in a great place." Another chimed in with, "Everybody here is friendly."
