BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Country music fans from all over Louisiana traveled to see country music's finest stars for the Fifth Annual Bayou Country Superfest.
Thousands filled the seats at LSU's Tiger Stadium. Eyes were glued as Music Legend Reba took the stage. Before the performances, people got a chance to enjoy local artists outside the stadium at the Fan Fest.
As you walked toward the entrance, you would notice guys and gals in their cowboy boots and hats. People kicking off the Memorial Day weekend with a drink and some jambalaya.
Tyler Peterson has attended the concert every year. He said he makes it a priority each year to come.
"This is the most incredible event. The hospitality here is amazing," said Peterson.
There will be a dozen stars performing throughout the weekend. Friday's fan favorite was singer George Strait.
"He is the best in country," said Ben Mcardole. "This is just a good time for people to drink beer and enjoy the music."
The concert will pick back up Saturday at 5 p.m.
