Man wanted on charges of selling illegal firearms in Tangipahoa Parish

TANGIPAHOA PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

Deputies with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office are searching for a man who is wanted on numerous outstanding warrants and allegedly involved in the selling of illegal firearms.

Officials say 23-year-old Devin L. Powell, of Robert, LA, is wanted on four counts of felony possession of a firearm, one count of theft and one count of burglary.

An on-going investigation by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office reveals Powell's alleged involvement in the selling of illegal firearms in Tangipahoa Parish.

Probation and Parole has also joined the sheriff's office in the investigation.

Powell was last seen driving a white Ford Extra-Cab pick-up truck bearing license plate X333371.
