BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Louisiana House of Representatives are in a marathon debate over the $25 billion budget for fiscal year 2014-2015.

Lawmakers are debating the money bill line by line. Many amendments are adding and subtracting the cash, usually involving the districts the representatives are from.

Baton Rouge Democrat Regina Barrow is very concerned about mental health funding, which she says is woefully lax.

Members of the Department of Health and Hospitals answered lawmaker's questions about the federal rejection of financing for the LSU hospital privitization plan already in place by Governor Bobby Jindal.

Appropriations Committee Chair Jim Fannin is handling the floor debate.

More than 150 amendments are expected to be added to HB 1 before it is voted on. HB 1 is traditionally the last bill to be passed during session.
