PLAQUEMINE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing two people in Iberville Parish in September of 2012.
A jury convicted Harry Prater of two counts of 2nd Degree murder. Prosecutors said he shot and killed 38-year-old Ronald Harrell and 46-year-old Junius Dedrick III.
Their bodies were found in a car in a ditch on LA 1 in Plaquemine.
Prater is supposed to be sentenced next month.
