BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Huey P. Long Fieldhouse on the LSU campus has seen better days and one group is leading the effort to help make repairs to the facility.
The Foundation for Historical Louisiana will unveil restoration plans on Wednesday when it hosts a community meeting to spotlight the university's master plan.
The meeting is free and open to the public. It will be held at the Old Governor's Mansion and starts at 6:30 p.m.
The field house was constructed in 1932 and has since fallen into disrepair. It has been closed for the past 7 years, and was recently a featured location in the movie Pitch Perfect.
