NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - In just two weeks, the decision could be made on whether New Orleans will host a record eleventh Super Bowl.
City officials sent their official bids to the NFL this week.
They hope a new field at Tulane University, which would be used for practice, and improvements to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will bring Super Bowl LII (52) to the city in 2018.
The 2018 game would also coincide with New Orleans' tri-centennial.
Minneapolis and Indianapolis are the other cities in the running to host the game.
NFL owners will vote on a host city on May 20.
