State audit reveals GOHSEP owed $95,000

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A new audit reveals Red River Parish in Northwest Louisiana owes GOHSEP $95,000 in FEMA  funding.

The report says the parish used almost $80,000 FEMA dollars after Hurricane Katrina to pay expenses that FEMA didn't cover. The audit found another $14,500 for work not covered following Gustav. The Police Jury there says it will cooperate and return the money to GOHSEP.
