GONZALES, LA (WAFB) -

Police have arrested a man accused of stealing more than $41,000 in merchandise from the store where he worked.

The Gonzales Police Department said Lyndon Pack, 25, of LaPlace, turned himself in Monday night. He is charged with felony theft.

Investigators said Pack is suspected of making fraudulent transactions at the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store at the Tanger Outlet in Gonzales from November 10, 2013 until April 10, 2014.

According to a report from the Gonzales Police Department, the transactions were done by voiding certain transactions or presenting a zero balance and fraudulent returns in which Pack received the money.

An internal investigation by Polo into the suspicious employee activity revealed thefts by two additional employees. Those employees were not named, but they were arrested.

Investigators added the two employees stated Pack showed them how to steal from Polo.
