Community Coffee donates cash to schools

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Coffee is known to help people jump start their mornings, but it can also help jump start some schools.

Community Coffee's 'Cash for Schools' program gave back $60,000 to schools in the Baton Rouge area.

Kids and parents helped raise money by collecting barcodes off Community Coffee products and turning them in to get money to buy books, computers and other supplies.

St. Aloysius School raised the most in the Baton Rouge area, earning over $3,000.
