BATON ROUGE, LA (AP/WAFB) - A Baton Rouge audio company that started in a garage officially opened its new multi-million dollar headquarters Wednesday.
Presonus Audio Electronics opened its new building on Highland Road. They're moving from their former location at Bon Carre Shopping Center. The move injected more than $8 million dollars into the state and will create nearly 140 new jobs by 2016.
Many of those jobs will go to Louisianians.
Presonus was founded in 1995 with two Baton Rouge entrepreneurs starting their idea in their garage and it's grown into a 43,000 square foot headquarters.
