BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital with critical injuries Tuesday night.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported it happened on Village Street around 10:30 p.m. Village Street is located near I-110 at US 190.
Capt. Ronald Norman with BRPD said officers were called out to a shooting and found a 52-year-old man at a home suffering from gunshot wounds.
He added EMS rushed the man to the hospital. His injuries are considered life-threatening. The victim's name was not released.
Detectives have not identified a suspect or established a motive for the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
