BRAC poll shows St. George voters don't want to form a separate city

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Voters in the proposed city of St. George are weighing in on whether a new city is needed to address education issues.

A new poll conducted by a national firm and released by the Baton Rouge Area Chamber asked 400 voters in the proposed St. George District questions like what are you most concerned about and how would you rate the school system. According to BRAC, the results show those voters don't have a high opinion of the parish school system and they would rather find other education alternatives instead of forming a separate city.
