BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Just before 1 a.m. Monday, a Baton Rouge Police Officer pulled over a vehicle in the 4400 block of S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. for improper lane usage.
During the stop, the driver was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe, according to the probable cause report.
After the paraphernalia was discovered, the officer found a "shake and bake rolling meth lab" in the trunk of the vehicle.
The driver, Destiny Raye Kelley, 36, and Donald Reece Gideon, 44, were both arrested in charged with creation or operation of a clandestine laboratory. Kelley was also charged with improper lane usage, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. Gideon is being held on a $40,000 bond. Kelley is being held on a $36,000 bond.
