6 people displaced after N. Baton Rouge apartment fire

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Fire Department extinguished a fire at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of N. Lobdell Blvd. Tuesday afternoon.

The fire at the Hawthorne Heights Apartments was put out just after Noon.

Officials say six people were displaced in the fire and three of the eight units in the building were occupied.

No injuries were reported in the fire.

Officials have not released information on the cause of the fire at this time.
