Investigation into Ethel double murder continues

ETHEL, LA (WAFB) - The investigation into the murder of a couple in Ethel continues, with no new information released about what may have happened and who may have done it.

Eddy Earl Hall, 53, and his wife, Connie, 51, were found dead inside their home Sunday afternoon.

The East Feliciana Parish Sherif's Office has not released many details about the case. Techs from the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab was at the home on Lillian Lane on Monday to collect evidence.

The house remains surrounded by crime scene tape and a trooper with Louisiana State Police is sitting guard outside.

Loved ones said Eddie was a well-known painter and owned his own painting business, while Connie was a homemaker and cleaned homes on a part-time basis.

The East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office is still asking anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area over the weekend to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
