ONTARIO, OH (WOIO) -

Ontario Police confirm that the woman suspected of stealing items from a little boy's grave site in Richland County is now in custody.

The suspect arrested is identified as Freda Kay Shade, 64, of Mansfield.

Officers say that a summons was sent to Shade's attorney and she turned herself in.

According to Ontario Police, several people contacted them concerning grave site thefts at Mansfield Memorial Park, whether it is flowers, wreaths or little toy tanks.

Police say they were contacted by the parents of a 14-month-old baby boy, Hayden "Tank" Cole Sheridan, whom passed away in 2007. Since that time, someone has been stealing toys and solar night lights from the baby's grave site, with the most recent incident occurring April 19.

Ontario Police set up a camera to catch the suspect, but never got a clear image that was good enough to identify the suspect until recently.

In 1996 Shade was convicted of grand theft in an Ashland County court.
