LIVINGSTON, LA (WAFB) - A Livingston, LA man has been charged with 100 counts of child pornography after an investigation by the Louisiana Attorney General's Cyber Crime Unit.
The investigation revealed 47-year-old Richard Mudd was distributing child pornography, according to the Attorney General's Office.
Mudd was booked into the Livingston Parish Prison on 50 counts of possession and another 50 counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles.
Mudd is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison on each count.
