Darren Sharper will remain jailed without bond

Updated:

An Arizona judge denied bond Thursday for Darren Sharper, who is charged with two counts of sexual assault and three counts of administering dangerous drugs.

Sharper, who was jailed in Los Angeles pending the outcome of the bond hearing, will remain there.

According to the Tempe, Ariz., police report, two women claim Sharper drugged them and sexually assaulted them after a night of partying last November.

A third woman claims she was drugged by Sharper too, but she locked herself in a bedroom before falling asleep.

Sharper has already pleaded not guilty to rape and drug charges in Los Angeles and posted a $1 million bond before being re-arrested.

He was picked up six weeks ago when the New Orleans Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for him for the alleged aggravated rape of two women in the Warehouse District.

Sharper has not been formally charged in New Orleans. District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro says his office is monitoring the situation as prosecutors in Los Angeles and Arizona move forward with their cases.

He also says the investigation is still a very open case.

"We certainly do not close the possibilities to any other participants. We have to go where the evidence takes us in regards to other individuals," says Cannizzaro.

Sharper is also being investigated for similar crimes in Miami, Fla., and Las Vegas.
