BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities are on the hunt for a man wanted on human trafficking charges.

Louisiana State Police reported Emmanuel Bailey, 21, of Fort Smith, AR, is an alleged pimp sought in an investigation into prostitution and online solicitation throughout the state.

Troopers said Bailey was identified as a suspect after an undercover prostitution sting in the Baton Rouge area in March in which dates were arranged at a hotel via online solicitations.

Detectives reportedly made contact with a woman who arranged to have sex for money. Investigators said after being arrested, she claimed she was forced to prostitute.

They added she told them she was threatened that she and her family would be harmed if she didn't. According to troopers, the woman identified Bailey as her alleged pimp.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.

Louisiana State Police, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security Investigations and the Louisiana Attorney General's Office are involved in the operation.
