BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Emergency crews were called out to a house fire early Monday that investigators have ruled as arson.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department reported it happened on Bank Street near Byron Avenue in Baton Rouge just before 2 a.m.
Firefighters said they arrived on the scene to find a bathroom on fire, which they put out in about 10 minutes.
They added the rest of the home received light smoke and water damage.
Officials said no one was home at the time of the fire.
