Dardenne leads by example at anti-litter event

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne set an example at a news conference Friday about a statewide campaign against litter event.

After a gust of wind blew a piece of paper out of his hand...Dardenne paused then picked it up.

The Lt. governor says he believes most of the litter in Louisiana happens that way.

He adds Friday's event-- taking place at more than a dozen locations around the state--was designed to put people in leadership rolls on the front line of the litter problem.
