BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A TSA program is making security checks easier for travelers in Baton Rouge.
The Pre-Check Program allows approved fliers to go through a special line where they won't have to take their jackets and shoes off for inspection. They may also leave their laptops in the bag.
Currently, Baton Rouge Metro Airport does not have a special pre-check line for fliers, but TSA leaders say many of the airports you will pass through will have them.
TSA spokeswoman Sari Koshetz says their number one goal is still safety.
"TSA has moved away from 'one size fits all' security," said Koshetz. "It's safe for everybody; it actually becomes stronger because we can spend more time on those we know less about."
