The Islamic State militant group released a video Tuesday that it claimed shows the beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff.
A TSA program is making security checks easier for travelers in
The Pre-Check Program allows approved fliers to go through a
special line where they won't have to take their jackets and shoes off for
inspection. They may also leave their laptops in the bag.
Currently, Baton Rouge Metro Airport does not have a special
pre-check line for fliers, but TSA leaders say many of the airports you will
pass through will have them.
TSA spokeswoman Sari Koshetz says their number one goal is still safety.
"TSA has moved away from ‘one size fits all' security," said
Koshetz. "It's safe for everybody; it actually becomes stronger because we can
spend more time on those we know less about."
