Police need your help to identify ATM robber

EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police Detectives are looking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in an ATM robbery.

Police say the suspect robbed a man Tuesday around 6:05 a.m. at the Chase Bank ATM in the 3900 block of Plank Rd.

Police say the victim had just withdrawn money from the ATM when they were confronted by an unknown black male suspect.

The suspect then began fighting with the victim and was able to take his money. The suspect then ran off in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male around 6'2", medium build, wearing a yellow shirt with shiny blue tennis shoes.

The victim was treated at a local medical facility for his injuries.
