Tim Goodwin re-elected as Folly Beach mayor

FOLLY BEACH, SC (WCSC) - Tim Goodwin has been re-elected as Folly Beach mayor following Tuesday's election.

Goodwin was facing challenger and former city administrator Toni Connor-Rooks. According to election officials, Goodwin had 612 votes to Connor-Rooks' 434 votes.

Meanwhile, two incumbents, Dale Stuckey and Punnel Clamp, and one new chair, D.J. Rich, were elected to city council.

Stuckey received 595 votes, Clamp 532 and Rich 527. While, Paul Hume received 381 votes, John Merritt 287 and Ed Iames received 509.

Results of the election must still be certified.
