Entergy reports power outage near airport

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Crews worked in stormy conditions to restore power after an outage in north Baton Rouge Friday morning.

According to Entergy's website, the electricity went out for about 1,300 customers around 6:15 a.m. The lights were back on for most of them before 8:30 a.m.

The outage happened near the Baton Rouge Metro Airport.

The company reported crews had to repair broken equipment on a utility pole. It estimates all customers should have power around 9:30 a.m.
