Tuskegee falls to Metro State in Division-II Elite Eight

EVANSVILLE, IN. (WSFA) - Tuskegee's historic season came to an end on Wednesday with a 106-87 loss to Metro State in the Division-II Elite Eight in Evansville, Ind.

Tuskegee fell behind at halftime 42-28.

Metro State went on to score 64 points in the second half to bury the Golden Tigers.

Keith Winn, Jr. led the Golden Tigers in scoring with 18 points. Richard Dixon scored 16 points.

Tuskegee finishes its season with a 21-12 record.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
