LSU Law Center may realign under main campus operations

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The LSU Law School may soon be part of the main campus in Baton Rouge.

Currently the law school sits on campus, but operates as a separate unit with its own chancellor.

However, under the so-called "realignment plan", which was approved on Friday by LSU's Board of Supervisors, the LSU Law Center would fall under LSU President and Chancellor F. King Alexander.

The realignment still needs to be approved by a couple of other groups that make sure schools are accredited.
